All of a Kind Family!!!!! I once had a librarian find the title of this series for me based on a vague description and the approximate location of where the books were shelved in the children’s library of my childhood! Ordering sticker now!
Oh, Kzteryn would _absolutely_ gift a single menorah salad tong. (Wait, is Hanukkah _not_ about celebrating the Miracle Of The Salad Oil? I always get the Jewish holidays mixed up...)
Always love your gift guides. Have you seen the Rancho Gordo calendars? My husband gets them yearly for our grown (small sob) kids. Saw Hell's Kitchen during a fabulous NYC visit just after Labor Day and LOVED it.
I have purchased from your gift guides since the beginning of their time, always hoping for the holiday creativity and togetherness to take over all our days! The end to phone time and screen time and requests for video games! Still buying from it, and so happy to see no more Amazon links this year, because this year…. I hope we can catch more creativity and portrait drawing this year without any nagging as a side. 🤞 ❤️
Always the best gift guide, thank you! I'm adding pip stickers (for my writing chart!) and the grapefruit candle to my post-holiday wish list, when I return whatever my MIL gives me —like matching plaid skirts so we could dress alike (true story).
I'm also relieved to hear you say the same about the tablet vs the cream, because I still feel guilty about making the switch (after years of washing that impossible-to-clean plastic). Why can't they make the tablet insert reusable? That would be easy to wash!
How am I just discovering that you do this every single year? (I type while looking at the stockpile of Yuvafem and Malin & Goetz soap--their deodorant and hair products are also amazing--stored in my linen closet...) LOVE.
Thank you for the gift guides! I always find games and puzzles I wouldn't otherwise that my kids love. In a few weeks, I will have all adult children. Sob. The games and puzzles are becoming a longstanding winter break tradition that I love to see continue.
I just sent a pic of those handwritten lyrics to my English teacher sister 🥰
I slowly finished We All Want Impossible Things last night… I did not want it to end… thank you Catherine, your words will stay with me a long long time xx

And slap some of that estrogen cream on under your eyes for the same facial plumpness! (Love this gift guide!)
Seriously Amy? lol 😆
I’m totally serious!!! 😂 It’s the new thing! https://www.elektrahealth.com/estrogen-cream-on-your-face/
I'm seriously doing the Nana Gram for my 97 year old grandmother! Love it!

I did a gift guide last week! But I didn't include the last item, and that's on me.
ALSO THANKS FOR INCLUDING STICKERS. Give adults STICKERS
We played your Fishbowl game last night with 6 kids and 5 grownups and it was a big hit with everyone. Thank you!
You bought the Menorah Fork, right? A Forknorah? A Menork?

So much freaking talent.

Why are you the best?! This list is great! And thank you for linking previous years, can't wait to check those out too.

Yes! Many great things! Especially the estrogen!
Just leaving a comment to say I read both of your novels earlier this year and I adored them. Thrilled to see you have a Substack!!!!!
God you write a great gift guide!! Thanks for all the great ideas (and the laughs!).
