You are about as far north and east of North Carolina as one can get and still be in the US. Oh wait, you also went to the UK to get far away from me! But just in case: Durham NC The Regulator or Letters, Chapel Hill NC Flyleaf or Epilogue, Morganton NC Thornwell, Asheville NC Malaprop, or Cape Fear NC Papercut.

I’m in Chapel Hill, but looked up how far is Parnassus Books is from us😅 8 hours might be a little far for a road trip, but… maybe not??

Yes, yes, another plug for you to come to NC!

Way too much MA on this tour schedule and far too little WI! Applied for the tiniest restraining order…

Omg, why, WHY are British covers always (always!!) better? (Going to have to go pre-order me that one now. It’s the toast, dang it.)

I pre-ordered awhile ago after getting to know your work We All Want Impossible Things. I loved that novel and have recommended and gifted it many times! I can’t wait for Sandwich! Will you ever consider visiting Portland, OR?

I love the two different covers too! All the best to you and your family!

I cannot believe you are coming to LONDON!!! I have bought the new book, which sounds amazing, and may also bring my much loved copy of "Waiting for Birdy" which I got me through pregnancy and the early years more than any other book.

I can't wait to read Sandwich. Pre-ordering now. I'm seconding the commenter who said you should come to DC/Maryland. And I'm messaging you for a bookplate.

So happy you've been reunited with your baby!

Dadgummit, I wish they were sending you down to Square Book in Oxford where I am while you were nearby at Parnassus! Because it really is the best place to come on a book tour.

I just called to pre-order from Sq Bks (I used to work there in grad school days) and told them how wonderful you are and that they need a stack and that if they could get you here I would probably cry upon meeting you. You would be the one needing the restraining order! And I would love a book plate -- 101 County Rd 178 Oxford, MS 38655

I preordered the second you announced! Can't wait! I do wish you were coming to one of the other lovely indies in Los Angeles (Vroman's, Skylight, etc) and not Zibby's. She's ... complicated and that makes me less-than-enthusiastic about her store. But I'm sending all good thoughts for your tour!!

Pre-ordered at the Brewster Bookstore yesterday. When I gave her the title, the employee helping me out said “Oh, so good!” followed by “I think I’m going to need to increase our order” :).

I just pre-ordered Sandwich!! I am such a Catherine Newman fan- Waiting for Birdy partially influenced my naming my daughter Birdie! (She is now 11 & I was also influenced by the Birdie in Hope Floats, but I read your book while pregnant!) And We All Want Impossible Things is impossibly and wrenchingly beautiful. I have recommended it to numerous friends in the past year. I laughed out loud and cried concurrently, my favorite way to experience those emotions.

If you could send me a nerdy little signed book plate for Sandwich, I would be thrilled 😊
