Oh my—am I allowed to tell all my friends in Tucson? Half the people in our zoom for Sandwich are from that area. Since we can’t get you to Denver, I may have to go!
I am in Athens, GA and we have a wonderful indie, Avid Bookshop, and we have a B&N. I’m sure there are several great indies in the metro Atlanta area. I’d also plug The Bookshelf in Thomasville GA and E Shavers in Savannah. And while I’m at it, I’ll definitely plug the Savannah Book Festival in February. It would amazing to see you there! (I’ll plug what’s usually great Feb weather esp if you’re coming from the NE, and the best food and cocktail scene outside of NYC or NOLA!)
I’ve pre-ordered the US edition because we don’t get hardback in Australia. Planning a re-read of Sandwich before Wreck arrives. Congratulations, Catherine! You’re wonderful x
Is it super weird to confess to you that I had a dream about a week ago that the book (my preorder) arrived early and it just made me so happy? (Until I woke up and realized I still had to wait…) 🤣🤣💗💗💗
I think it was relatively well attended, I talked to you at the end, I think I was holding my toddler & I shared I lived in Amherst for 8 years. This was for _Waiting for Birdy_ back in 2005 for sure, so maybe this other time may have been for another book?
So if we purchase through your bookshop.org link, are those the indie bookstore books? Sorry, I’m confused and would love to have the recipes included! 😊
I believe so--but you can double check with the bookstore that your order is going to come from (which you can see/select on bookshop.org). Thank you, Courtney!
I cannot waittttttttttttt!!!!!!! Also, may you please come WEST?!
Yes! I am coming to the Tucson Book Festival in March!!!!

We would love it if you would add a stop in Burlington, VT! We have an amazing local bookstore, Phoenix Books. It’s not far and it’s nice up here!

Ha ha ha! That's the best!
Oh please please please add Chicago to that list!! There are so many wonderful bookstores here that I'm sure would love to host you!!
I’m making the unfortunate trek to Naperville. Catherine is worth it!
Thank you, dear Megga! I know so little about Chicago, but you are not the first person to express this type of sentiment.
Naperville is pretty close, right? A suburb!
Unfortunately not close! It is an hour plus drive each way for me from Albany Park :(
ALSO HI I LOVE YOU YOU ARE MY FAVORITE AUTHOR!! Your books have truly healed my heart during some very difficult times. Thank you <333
Will there be chickpea references??
See you in Bethesda! Really looking forward to being in the same room with you - live!
Yayyy!
Yayyyyyy cannot wait. Have the best book tour. Over here, on the west coast, we are begging you to come this way!
Thank you! I'll be back!
Got to read an ARC last week and it is AMAZING!!!!!!
Thank youuuuuu!
OMG, when was this crazy encounter at the Philly B&N because it was where I MET YOU! At a reading back in 2005 or 2006?
Ha ha ha, was it raining and very strange and underattended?
