This ventures into the ASMR realm for me! It could be a new calling for you - between writing what we all are thinking, cold plunging and finding truly novel ways to use old vegetables. Clearly, Iād subscribe. š
Quality last minute crafting, will try with a recalcitrant but biddable-by-yarn 4 yr old this evening. Catherine, the "uh, what's this called- thumbtack!" makes me want to hug you as kindred! Thanks
Loved this video, it reminded me of Mr Dressup craft segments on tv (maybe thatās a Canadian childhood thing; itās like the groundwork for so many people I know being into ASMR). I made two! One for my partner and one for our kid and they were both wildly impressed and I managed to do both yesterday afternoon while v sick so THANK YOU for a doable thing!
Sorry, Catherine. You lost me at "cut out a heart." I know how to do it, but from my brain to my fingers to the scissors, the message goes a bit squiffy and it all ends up pear shaped, or apple shaped or some sort of squiggly blob. If I do accidentally cut out something that would pass for a heart, I will likely clip the end of a finger off and bleed all over the rest of the crafting supplies.
By the way, I'm not sure if this is true, but I read somewhere that the shape we use today to represent a heart was originally meant to represent the buttcheeks of cherubs. :D
i've survived two hideously expensive special needs kids and a stroke that destroyed my medical transcription career at 52. I enjoy mocking shiny white privilege.

Recalcitrant but biddable gave me big love.
Terrific. Edited the best. Healing our shrapnel hearts.
Love you, Jenny K!

Oh, I don't know that show! But I'm glad you made the valentines. And I hope you're feeling better.

You are truly the strangest and most robust troll I've ever had!

Surely you have better things to do with your time than to be simultaneously rude, self-righteous, and self-pitying on other people's posts?
I really liked that. Thatās your voice NPR-ish and like you make good soup right out of your head.
Also liked the simplicity of the craft - Iām in my craft-phase bc I can slow down enough now, so am really loving full explained demonstrations :)
You crack me up!!!!
Happy galentineās day!
Perfect. Love it ā¤ļø
I love this!
Thanks so much! This is just what I was looking for - lovely and doable. And the yarn is perfect for this project. Do you have the name for it?
So good. š©·
Bringing me back to my craftier days - I love this!
This is so good!
Thank my lucky stars for you! Was needing this very satisfying craft for today.
